06 Mar 19: The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has taken up a project to provide guidance to local authorities on how they can prioritise security in the procurement of internet of things (IoT) technology and develop cyber resilience around smart city plans. To this end, the ministry has published an open early engagement notice on Contracts Finder to assess interest from suppliers that could support the initiative.
