Nigeria: Procurement: Assembly to increase mobilisation fees

30 Nov 2018: The Lagos State House of Assembly has said that 20 per cent advance payment for public procurement activities can no long work if quick delivery of projects would be achieved. The Speaker of the House, Mr Mudashiru Obasa, spoke at the public hearing on a bill seeking to amend the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency Law. The News Agency of Nigeria reported that Obasa, who was represented by his deputy, Mr Wasiu Eshilokun-Sanni, said the review was to ensure that people-oriented projects were delivered speedily in good quality.
