Ghana: Ghanaian Government seeks to restore public faith in procurement

04 Sep 2018: Public procurement in Ghana is undergoing a complete overhaul, all in a bid to increase transparency and reduce the likelihood of corruption. The importance of public procurement, largely considered to be a business process within a political system, cannot be overemphasised. In developing economies, a huge amount of the national budget is used to build roads, schools and hospitals, as well as other vital amenities.
