23 Apr 19: The government is considering the drafting of the public procurement bill and the establishment of public procurement authority to strengthen procurement function in the country. At the sixth South Asia Region Public Procurement Conference (SARPPC) in Thimphu yesterday, Finance Minister Namgay Tshering said that most countries in the region had strong legal framework such as procurement laws/acts.
