Nigeria: Ambode seeks to eliminate corruption from public procurement

15 Feb 19: The Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, says his administration is set to activate an e-procurement platform with a view to eliminating corruption in procurement process in the state. Ambode said this on Thursday in an address he delivered at the second edition of the Lagos State Annual Public Procurement Summit at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja. The governor, who was represented by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Olayinka Muri-Okunola, said the platform would start in three weeks in the ministries of works, health and education.
